Air night heaters - Eberspächer Airtronic Air Heating

Eberspächer air heaters are independent of both the engine and the vehicle`s own temperature regulation system. They draw cool interior or outside air in, heat it up and then return it to the vehicle interior. Air heaters are an excellent solution for all types of commercial vehicle. They can be mounted in the cab, in the luggage compartment or under the floor. Practical control elements, for example a digital Eberspächer clock timer or an innovative Eberspächer remote control, make operation perfectly comfortable.

How an Eberspächer AIRTRONIC Air Heater Works

As soon as the heater receives its starting pulse, the following processes are triggered by the central control unit:

    Automatic safety check.

The burner motor starts, the combustion space in pre-ventilated, the glow plug is warmed up, the metering pump conveys fuel.

The glow plug ignites the fuel-air mixture, the flame is formed.

The hot combustion gases flow through the heat exchanger.

The hot air fan draws in room air or fresh air.

The heat of the combustion gases is transferred by the heat exchanger to this hot air.

    WATER NIGHT HEATERS

    Eberspächer Hydronic Water Heaters

Eberspächer water heaters work independently of the engine and thereby offer a two-fold advantage: pre-warming of the vehicle interior and the engine. The heaters are integrated in the coolant circuit of the engine. The heat energy gained is taken from the vehicle`s own heat exchanger and is distributed, finely dosed, as warm air via the air ducts into the vehicle interior. The engine is warmed by the residual heat in the cooling water. In the summer, an Eberspächer Hydronic will have no difficulty in providing air-conditioning from standstill. Practical control elements, like a digital Eberspächer clock timer or an innovative Eberspächer remote control, make operation perfectly comfortable.

As soon as the heater receives its starting pulse, the following processes are triggered by the central control unit:

    Automatic safety check.

The glow plug is warmed up

    The metering pump conveys fuel

    The burner motor starts smoothly

    The fan delivers combustion air

    Fuel-air mixture ignites (flame formation)

The hot combustion gases flow through the heat exchanger that delivers the heat to the coolant system of the vehicle's engine.

The heater is controlled electronically and works - according to heat requirement - in several power stages.
