How it works

Please reach out to Mellor via phone or email regarding your heater issue, and one of our heater experts will provide a complimentary consultation to discuss the fault. In many cases, we can diagnose the problem over the phone and offer advice accordingly. However, if the issue cannot be resolved remotely, please follow the four steps below.

There is a testing fee of £40.00 plus VAT for heater diagnostics. Upon receiving your unit, the turnaround time for repair is typically 2-3 working days, depending on the nature of the fault. During busy periods, please allow up to 1 week for completion.

Repair TIme Indicator : 4 Working Days from receiving your heater.
Package your heater unit, fuel pump and anything else you wish to send in a strong box, ready to be transported. Prepare for us to collect your heater the next working day OR, you can drop off your heater to any Post Office, once you receive a label from us. Price for either service is £7.58 + VAT.

Alternatively, you can organise your own delivery. Please ship your heater unit to :

Please complete and fill out the heater repair form below, including the box weight and dimensions of your parcel. Once completed you will need to print out this confirmation, so we can identify who the heater belongs to. Please ensure you use your mobile number when signing up to receive SMS updates.
Our SMS system will keep you informed of your heater repair status, updating you once it arrives in our workshop. The heater will be fully tested on the appropriate manufacturer diagnostic software to identify the fault. We will contact you to inform you of the problem, providing a full quotation of the repair cost. If you choose for us not to repair the unit, it will be sent back to you with just the testing fee and return postage to pay.
Once the diagnostic and/or repair of your heater unit has been completed we will send you an SMS and email, containing a link where you can make payment. Your heater will then be returned to you utilising our tracked and insured next business day courier delivery service keeping you updated via SMS.
